Maryland Handgun Qualification License
In this 4 hour class, participants will learn MD State laws as required to be able to rent, sell, transfer or purchase a handgun.
All successful students will receive a certificate of completion.
The Handgun Qualification License (HQL) course is a basic handgun safety class that is ideal for new to novice gun handlers/purchasers looking to learn handgun basics and fundamentals. During this course of instruction by a Maryland Certified Instructor; students will learn Maryland laws and be able to get hands on with a handgun and shoot live ammo on the range.

Classroom is cleaned and sanitized after ever training class and at the end of each day to continue the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
Range is conducted on a private outdoor range. We encourage all participants to bring their own folding chairs despite us having chairs for all.
For the safety of everyone attending the class, please bring your mask and if any students show any signs of flu like symptoms we will have to ask the student(s) to reschedule for a later class.
